Wright's Spring Fire
The Wright’s Spring Fire has deeply affected individuals, families, and communities across our region.
As the immediate emergency response continues, the need for assistance will extend well beyond the first days and weeks. The Wright’s Spring Fire Relief and Recovery Fund was established to help provide financial support for both immediate relief and longer-term recovery efforts.
How will the funds be used?
Local subject matter experts from various community relief organizations have been asked to serve on the Wright’s Spring Fire Relief and Recovery Fund Committee. The committee will receive, review, and respond to requests for financial assistance in the wake of the fire. Financial assistance will be available to organizations directly supporting relief and recovery efforts, and to individuals affected by the fire. Some of the committee member organizations are: United Way of Klamath County, ODHS, Red Cross, Klamath and Lake Counties Food Bank.
The Wright’s Spring Fire Relief and Recovery Fund is operated by the Sage CU Foundation, a 501(c)(3). The Sage CU Foundation is staffed by volunteers and will be covering all administrative costs associated with the fund, so 100% of all funds donated will go directly to relief and recovery.
Donations to the fund can also be made at any Sage Credit Union Branch.
